Board of Directors

The private nonprofit eligible entity [Ozark Opportunities, Inc.] shall administer the Community Services Block Grant Program through a tripartite board that fully participates in the development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the program to serve low-income communities. The board shall be composed so as to assure that:

1. elected public officials or their permanent representatives shall comprise one-third of the board;

2. representatives of low-income persons shall comprise at least one-third of the board;

3. representatives of business, industry, labor, religious, law enforcement, education or other major groups and interest in the community shall comprise the remainder of the board.
