Boone, Baxter, Marion, Newton Continuum of Care
Ozark Opportunities, Inc. serves as the Collaborative Applicant (or “lead agency”) for the Boone, Baxter, Marion, Newton Counties Continuum of Care (BBMN CoC).
The mission of the BBMN CoC is to serve as the HUD designated community planning body that strategically coordinates resources to address the needs of persons who are homeless or experiencing a housing crisis in Boone, Baxter, Marion, and Newton Counties in Arkansas.
Membership in the BBMN CoC is open to persons representing relevant organizations, agencies, projects, or themselves who are addressing the needs of homeless or near homeless individuals and families in our served area. Relevant organizations include nonprofit homeless assistance providers, victim service providers, faith-based organizations, governments, businesses, advocates, public housing agencies, school districts, social service providers, mental health agencies, hospitals, universities, affordable housing developers, law enforcement, and organizations that serve veterans and homeless and formerly homeless individuals.

CoC Project Rating and Ranking Tool – This is a downloadable Excel spreadsheet which has been supplied by HUD to aid CoC’s in the rating and ranking process. There are two tabs contained within it labeled “New Projects Threshold” and “New Projects Rating Tool” which provide additional information on the criteria which will be used in evaluating submissions.
