Healthy Families Arkansas is a voluntary home visiting program that provides free parenting support to pregnant and newly parenting families. We partner with families during in-home visits to provide guidance, education, and resources to help build strong foundations.
Our Healthy Families program is accredited through Healthy Families America® (HFA), which is one of the leading family support and evidence-based home visiting programs in the United States. We have been serving the area since 2012 and currently provide services in Baxter, Boone, Carroll, Marion, Newton, Searcy, and Van Buren counties.
What children experience in their first few years of life makes a big difference in how their brain will develop and how they will interact with the world as they grow.

This program began in 2007 as Young Moms Healthy Families. Over the years, the goal of the program widened and the name was changed to Healthy Families Arkansas- Ozark Mountains to reflect that.
HFA-Ozark Mountains has three professionally trained staff members – Brandi Grillot, Alex Churches Ragland, and Melissa Smyth- who provide support for the families of Van Buren and Searcy counties.
